Our Story

Rick and Lori Lite began helping authors after promoting their own self-published and traditionally published books, realizing that many writers struggled to navigate and flourish in the industry. Drawing from their experience with Stress Free Kids, they built a proven self-publishing, marketing and distribution model combining traditional tactics with innovative strategies. Today, this model has helped hundreds of authors and writers successfully publish and promote their books.

About Rick and Lori Lite

When Lori Lite became a parent looking for ways to help her children manage stress and sleep peacefully, she began creating bedtime stories that blended relaxation techniques with fun, relatable characters. That small home experiment worked so well that it grew into a full series of books, audiobooks, and educational products under her publishing company, Stress Free Kids. Lori went on to be traditionally published by Simon & Schuster and Scholastic, reaching families and educators worldwide. Lori also appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank season 1 to promote her stories.

Soon, Lori enlisted the help of her husband, Rick, who quickly realized that publishing books was only part of the challenge. The real key to success was mastering how to market, distribute, and sell books on a global scale. Through persistence, creativity, and smart licensing deals, they built a thriving international brand and sold thousands of titles across the world.

Today, that experience fuels their mission: to help other authors create, launch, market, and grow their books with the same level of care, strategy, and support. Over the past 15 years, Lori and Rick have worked with hundreds of authors around the world, guiding them through every stage of self-publishing and book promotion. They are referred by book industry editors, ghost writers, publishers and organizations like IngramSpark.

Whether you’re writing your first book or expanding your readership, you’ll be working with a team that’s walked the path and knows what it takes to succeed in today’s competitive publishing landscape.
